Paint Correction (Cut/Buff)

Paint Correction is the process of strategically removing paint (microns of clear-coat) to create an even surface. By creating an even surface, we remove the defects in the clear-coat, bringing out maximum clarity and gloss.

These defects can include;

- Swirls

- Scratches

- Paint Haze

- Oxidization

- Micro-marring

- R.I.D.S. (Random Isolated Deep Scratches)

- Orange Peel (Paint Texture)

"How will Paint Correction make my vehicle look after a service is complete?

- The level of Paint Correction chosen for your vehicle will dictate the final look. If you choose a more basic level of Paint Correction (Level 1) then you can expect good improvement in terms of defect removal, gloss/shine. This entry level service is a machine polish and is included with "The Standard Detail Package".

- If a higher level Paint Correction service is done (Level 2 - Level 4), you can expect a great end result! At these starting levels, a "Cut/Buff" will be done and that is where greater improvement is really seen between the Level 1 & Level 2 service.

As you go up in level of service for Paint Correction, the more improvement your vehicle will receive. Along with that will be a price increase due to time and attention to defect removal. A Level 3 & Level 4 Paint Correction is equivalent to a show car concours Paint Correction and will be protected in the best Ceramic Coatings I offer, with multiple layers of Coating build up.
